A bathroom success

This morning when I went up to get dressed I gave Rodders a Kong with half a dairy lea cheese smeared in it to see if this will keep him quiet and amused while I do what I have to do. It took him a minute or two, and a bit of help from me, to realise that it contained untold joy but he soon got the hang of it. He seemed to like it very much and was happy chasing it around the floor and getting the odd lick of cream cheese when he could stop it. It didn't take long for him to work out that he could hold it still with his paw to get better access. This is a treat that will be kept for the bathroom, who knows I may get to shower when it is just him and I in the house soon!

*Kongs are bathroom treats only*

We came back down stairs much to his disgust, and he stood at the bottom of the stair and barked, I managed to distract him and get him to come in to the kitchen with me while I put my dressing gown in the washing machine. He wasn't too keen on the washing machine yesterday when I washed his bed pad, wonder how we will fair today.

He went through to the conservatory and sat on the rolled up carpet looking at me with sleepy eyes. He then came through to the lounge and stood up with his paws on the sofa as if to say I'm tired Mum, come on and snuggle me down. I obliged and out him on my knee with his snuggle fleece and moved him to the floor when he was dopey. He is sat happily snoozing at my feet :-)
