Ailie and Pete arrived just after 7 and Rodders was sound asleep and had to be woken.
He wasn't sure to start with and refused to leave my side, a mixture of being half asleep and exhausted. He gradually came too, helped by Pete giving him a chin rub. He then felt safe enough to go up on Ailie's knee on snuggle blanket.
I got them a drink once Rodders would leave my side, it is good to have them here! I managed to go and make some beds while he stayed with Ailie and Pete and Rodders gained in confidence and went to play with Teddy for a bit while I got his supper ready. It would appear that he is too tired and is beyond eating :-( Poor starved baby!
I nipped out and got us a chinese and although Rodders was happy playing when I left he still cried. When I came back 15 minutes later he was very happy to see me and I got a snuggle. He lay on snuggle fleece and went to sleep while we ate, bless!
And then, horrid Mummy that I am I took him out for a piddle. It looked as though he was having none of it and he just lay on the grass and went back to sleep! I dashed in to get the camera but by the time I got back he had thought better of it and was standing on the path. He then kindly performed his duty and came back in.
He has just flopped on snuggle fleece at my feet after being on my knee for a few minutes.
