Rodders ended up snoozing with me on the sofa & fell off again which woke us both up. A trip to the garden for a piddle and a short play while I sorted out the Kong and it was bathroom time.
The Kong didn't work quite so well today and he was barking and carrying on before I had even washed, he seemed to take exception to a towel hanging on the door handle. Managed to re-engage him with the Kong and went to grab my clothes.
Once I was dressed we came down and he went in the garden while I made some breakfast. He didn't stay out there long once he could smell the bacon. BLT made and he came and slept at my feet on snuggle fleece while I ate.
Another quick play and then Alison, who I used to work with, called in for a cuppa and a natter. Rodders wasn't very happy about a stranger in his house and barked a bit when left in the conservatory and Alison had to move out of his way so he could run and hide at my feet in the kitchen. While we talked he lay at my feet on snuggle fleece and went to sleep. When she slipped to the bathroom he raised his head and I took the opportunity to take him out for a piddle. But he went straight back to snuggle fleece when he had finished.
We said goodbye to Alison and he let her give him a bit of a fuss. And then he wanted to go back to sleep. It is almost 2pm and I will have to wake him for lunch, but he is quite happy snoring away!
