Rodders probably woke from his nap a bit early but I needed to use the bathroom. I spoke gently to him before I went and he stayed downstairs quietly. When I came back he had moved from one snuggle fleece to another but was happy on his own.
He then walked towards the patio door so we went in to the garden. More distractions before he got to the grass but he piddled. And then he found a ripe strawberry, yes I know it is October but the plant is confused by our wonderful weather, he had a chew and walked away. Thought about it for a second and when back to it, he seems to quite like it! I had to dash in and answer the phone, OH calling to check how Rodders and I are, and he was happy to stay out there on his own, more chewing of the strawberry and then off to chase a leaf or two.
He piddled again and then came and barked at the door to get my attention. He came in to lots of fuss and then sat nicely for a puppy treat. He seems to like these Harrisons ones so I think a trip to Pets at Home to see if they have any more is in order for today. Two birds with one stone, car and shopping. Must get dressed first though, don't want to scare the locals by going out in my dressing gown.
He has asked to go out again, more chewing of the strawberry! I have got his Kong ready for when we go upstairs for me to get washed and dressed and that will happen just as soon as he comes in!
