Exhaustion

Never seen Rodders so tired, he just didn't know what to do with himself and I had dinner to cook. I spent 10 minutes getting him settled and left him on his snuggle fleece but he didn't want to stay in the lounge on his own and followed me in to the kitchen and wanted to be at my feet. I put a snuggle fleece on the floor of the kitchen and he was happy to settle there and was out for the count when OH got home.

He came too long enough to say hello and went back to sleep while OH got changed. Rodders then settled with him for a while, right up until the point that I wanted to move hot stuff around so I had to shout for help while I put dinner on the table.

Rodders was happy to settle on his snuggle fleece and went back to sleep while we had dinner. Then it was his turn. He wolfed it down so quick he gave himself hiccups as well as wind. He then asked to go out and I put my coat on as it is flipping freezing out there this evening.

He went straight to the far end of the garden, his favourite place to poo and was poised ready for action when there was a loud crash from the garages behind, he nearly ran back to the house but was happy to come to me. Once he realised it was OK and there was no more noise he ambled off for a piddle. Is this going to be another night when he holds it for 12-14 hours?

I headed back to the door but he didn't want to come in. I left him out there and went to a vantage point in the conservatory. He played with the leaves for a little while and then sniffed about and eventually had a poo. As I started the usual dance and hooting and hollering he came running back in for his puppy treat barking!
