- Those lovely little puppy sounds, almost a squeak, when he is tired or happy
- The way he bounces off all four feet when he is excited and playing
- When he asks to go out to piddle or poo in the garden
- How brilliantly he has settled in to our routines
- When he has his silly 5 minutes and runs from one end of the house to the other as fast as he can, sliding on the floor as he tries to turn
- When he chases me around the garden
- When he plays fetch
- When he comes in from the garden and rolls over for a tummy rub
- When he snuggles on my knee and goes off to sleep
- That he is happy to play on his own
- That he is gaining in confidence
- The way he takes his treasured things (toys, biscuits) on to the rolled up carpet
- When he reacts to his name, even if he is doing something he shouldn't
- He has never made me miss a nights sleep
- The way he comes to my side when he is unsure of himself
I really do love my puppy and am so happy he has come to live with me, even during the trying times! We will get there and you will be a dog that people are happy to have around.
