OH rang on his way to the hotel, he was running low on fuel and, knowing whereabouts he was, I diverted him off to a Tesco close by.
Rodders woke up after about an hour and a half when Pete arrived to pick up Ailie's toothbrush. He came in to give Rodders a fuss and, for once, he didn't try and hide behind me :-) We saw Pete off at the door and Rodders went straight to the patio door so I let him out for a piddle.
He came back in and played for a bit in the conservatory and I ambled through to the kitchen to unload the washing machine. The next thing I hear is him barking so back I go and Rodders is stood at the door wanting out. It is the first time he has actually barked to go out so I rang OH to let him know, he didn't seem very impressed :-(
When Rodders came in, having pooped, we had another play in the conservatory. I grabbed the camera and tried to take some pictures but all Rodders wanted to do was bite the camera or crawl all over me so I gave up after a while. I went in to the kitchen and made dinner which involved a tin of tuna. I put a little in Rodders bowl but he has had a sniff and walked away very unimpressed.
Once dinner was cooked I went and sat at the dining table and Rodders arrived at my side and barked. He wanted to settle down and his snuggle fleece wasn't there! So I got up and went and got it and he was soon snoozing at my feet.
After dinner I went to clear up in the kitchen and put the dishwasher on. Rodders sat patiently by the sofa waiting for me to move the snuggle fleece. I am fast learning that I am here to serve the puppy alone!
Funnily enough he is now snoozing at my feet. And I haven't had to settle him on my knee :-)
