Rodders was woken by the phone ringing and didn't look too happy about it. I enticed him in to the garden while talking and he sat on the patio yawning for a while before going for a piddle.
Once I was off the phone I left him in the garden while I prepared his Kong with Dairylea so I could go and get washed and dressed. He had other ideas and had snuck back in and on to his snuggle fleece. He soon changed his mind once he saw the Kong though and was happy to come upstairs with me. I either need to make it tougher for him to get the dairy lea out or I need to put more in as he was through it in no time and decided to chew the bath mat :-(
Once dressed I came down and put him in the garden again. He was happy running about while I made something for us both to eat (just a small amount for him as he has had a small amount already). Once he realised there may be something in the offing for him Rodders was running in and out and getting up to mischief so I brought him in to the kitchen with me behind the baby gate.
He has now eaten most of it and I have lifted what was left. He has been back out playing in the garden and is snuffling for strawberries - sorry Mister, I think you have had them all!
I now have an interview at the job centre at 12.30 and with an employment agency at 1.15. That's OK, Rodders won't be on his own for more than 2 hours max.
