We all went up to bed after 11. Rodders had been in the garden twice by that time, and wasn't impressed at being taken from his snuggle fleece and decided once to try and sleep on the grass & the other time my foot. He did what he had to do with a bit of encouragement.
Anyway, bed time he cried for a little and then 4am (!) he was crying again. I left him for a few minutes and then came down. I didn't speak to him at all, but let him in to the garden for a piddle and then put him straight back in his crate. He wasn't impressed and cried and whinged for about 20 minutes. Both of us managed to get back to sleep until 6.45.
When I came down, at this slightly more reasonable hour, he was happy to see me and we went straight in to the garden. He piddled and pooped before we came back in. I recycled last nights supper as I made my cuppa and he was obviously hungry as he wolfed down more than half in one go. He hasn't been back to it yet and is happily beating up teddy in the conservatory.
