Rodders was still sleeping and I needed to go upstairs . He stirred as I got up so I told him where I was going and expected him to come too especially as he trotted to the bottom of the stair.
I get to the bathroom on my own and then hear him at the bottom of the stairs crying.
When I come out the bathroom he is on step 3 crying.
I came down and tried to get him to walk back down, he did one step and cried again. So I lifted him up and carried him through to snuggle fleece. He was making little puppy noises in my ear.
OK, you are forgiven! Love my puppy dog, even when he drives me to distraction!
